Jacob Kahn, Prophet

Go find the man
wandering in darkness
thinking it light.

Tell him we don’t have to run.
Tell him that it won’t be long.
Tell him we’re young and

we don’t know and
this, too, is a gift.

Speak for him a strange world.
Listen as his shame falls.
Look at his ugly and

don’t be afraid and
this, too, is beautiful.
